Hello there! As we begin to wrap up 2023, I'm admittedly a bit embarrassed that I've been so sporadically present here despite having a pretty positive reading year overall. There are so many titles I would have loved discussing and diving deeper into but 2023 has truly just flown by so quickly.
With that in mind, as the year draws to a close, here's your reminder to continue educating yourself and spreading awareness about what is happening in Gaza, Sudan, and Congo (just to name a few). The Western world of politics has unfortunately displayed its horrific lack of human empathy but it's important to continue staying resilient and working together to break against the genocidal regimes.

favorite line: When humans become gods, they bring their natures with them.
I'm hoping to dive back into writing reviews in the upcoming months because I definitely felt a bit rusty sitting down and writing this review corner. With December in full swing, there are so many wrap ups and stats I want to share so fingers crossed I can get my act together and post a few more times before 2023 ends!

I completely understand what you mean when an audiobook transforms the experience. I'm more likely to listen to romance audiobooks but a book I thought was okay ended up become a favorite because of the audiobook.
ReplyDeleteaudiobooks have been such a game changer for me for sure especially when the narrator just brings the characters and world to life perfectly! ♡
